Merit Badge in GOLD and white enamel, 67x43 mm, with chiseled details, oval centre medallion with polychrome arms of Spain, blue enameled outer circlet with inscription "ELISABETH II PUBLICAE INSTITUTIONI", blue enameled reverse medallion with golden beaming sun and the inscription "PERFUNDET OMNIA LUCE", hinged upper crown with red enameled details, round suspension ring and further oval ring. A very rare insignia, excellent condition and quality! I RR!

Unique prototype for a planned, but never instituted Breast Star of the Order, 59 mm, ten-pointed star with rays adorned by red stones, flanked by golden beams and a round, laurel wreath, turquoise-blue enameled centre medallion with the golden head of President Bourguiba facing left, within a circlet, completely set with red stones, bright-polished reverse, with convex counter-medallion and double, round pin, in the original, green case of issue with maker`s mark of Arthus Bertrand Paris.
