Founded by King Carol II, on the 26th of November 1937, awarded only "Propriu Motu" by the King for

Silver Leopold Cross with crossed swords, a wide black enameled border and a white enameled central medallion surrounded by a wreath of green enameled oak leaves on the obverse. In the center the inscription "Bene Merenti". On reverse, King Carol II cipher surrounded by a black enameled ring. Very rare and in mint condition! I RR!
