ROMANIA

An officer's Cape awarded to officers, who have worn it at military parades and all official meetings. Officially it was adopted in 1940 by regulation. Made of white wool, having on collar patches with the letter V, embroidered in the colors of the order`s ribbon. The cape is lined with cherrycolored silk. On the left chest is stitched the order`s cross, made of royal blue velvet and gold wire thread. Under the collar, two brass ornaments. Very rare cape in extremely fine condition. II RR!

Mantle Star, 30.5 cm., Brown Velvet and Goldwire, cross and royal King Ferdinand cypher with royal crown, hand embroidered. Very rare and superb! I- RR!

Neck Badge, 68x46 mm, Silver, hallmarked "SILBER - 1367 - 41, crown", maker's mark "CFZ" both sides enameled, original suspension ring, loop and complete ribbon, in case of issue by "Monetaria Nationala", with gilt monogram of King "Mihai I" on the lid.. A beautiful and scarce cross, in extremely fine condition! I

Grand Cross Set, 2nd Model, Civil. Sash Badge, 57x55 mm, Silver gilt, hallmarked "79 - HW - 37- crown", both sides red enameled, with long original sash. Breast Star, 76 mm, Silver, hallmarked "34 - 329 - crown - RS - 935" maker`s mark "HEINRICH WEISS, BUCAREST", enameled, long thin pin back. A superb set, in perfect condition! I

Grand Cross Set, 2nd Type (1938), Military. Sash Badge with Swords, 73x48 mm., gilt Bronze, both sides red enameled, original suspension crown and unsewn sash. Breast Star, 75 mm, Silver, enameled, vertical pin on reverse. A splendid and very rare set, of Austrian fabrication, most probably "Souval - Wien", in mint condition! I RR!

Neck Badge, 46 mm, gilt Silver, hallmarked "ARG, crown", maker`s mark "JRF", both sides red enameled, obverse medallion with cipher of Carol I, reverse medallion with "10 Maiu", original suspension ring, loop and ribbon.
