Grand Officer’s Set, 1st Class. Commander’s Cross in gilt Silver, centre enameled, hallmarked “crown” and maker’s mark “iR” (Ioseph Resch, Bucarest), original suspension ring, loop and ribbon. Breast Star, 1st Class, in Silver and gilt Silver, hallmarked “crown”, centre enameled, medium reverse pin. Of the highest rarity and in extremely fine condition. The Honor Badge, introduced in 1933, was conferred to the Senators and Members of the Parliament, awarding their civic activity.

2nd Class Commander’s Cross, gilt Silver, the medallion on the obverse depicting St. George terrassing the dragon, on reverse King Carol II cipher. Original suspension loop and correct ribbon. 1st Class for Ladies by “Da Costa, Lisboa”. Breast Badge, gilt Metal, medallion and crown on the top enameled, gilt rays between arms of the cross, with pin on reverse and original ribbon. Order for Merit (1937)

Officer’s Cross in gilt Silver, 47 mm, one side enameled Malta Cross, between the arms a crown of thorns, in the centre the cipher of King Carol II, on reverse hallmarked “37-crown-90”, maker’s mark “HW (Heinrich Weiss, Bucarest)”, with original reverse pin. Founded by King Carol II, on the 26th of November 1937, awarded only “Propriu Motu” by the King for
merits in war, cultural achievements, or services rendered to the crown. Extremely rare and attractive order and class, very seldom awarded, in extremely fine condition. I RR!
