Order of Michael the Brave

An officer’s Cape awarded to officers, who have worn it at military parades and all official meetings. Officially it was adopted in 1940 by regulation. Made of white wool, having on collar patches with the letter V, embroidered in the colors of the order’s ribbon. The cape is lined with cherrycolored silk. On the left chest is stitched the order’s cross, made of royal blue velvet and gold wire thread. Under the collar, two brass ornaments. Very rare cape in extremely fine condition. II RR!

Order of Michael the Brave (1944)

1st Class, 4th Model Breast Star in gilt Bronze, 59 mm, one side light blue enameled trefoiled cross with golden edges, the cipher of King Michael I and two crossed swords. Large pin on the back. Extremely rare model and class, instituted in August 1944 after closing the old order from 1916, of best manufacture and condition. I RR!

Commander`s Cross, 2nd Class, 3rd Model in gilt Copper, 84,0x61,0 mm., blue enameled, obverse with the cipher of King Michael I and the 2nd model institution year 1941, reverse the order`s original institution date, 1916 and King Ferdinand`s cipher, with original suspension loop and correct ribbon. Rare class, in perfect condition! I R!

In case of issue. Large pin on the back. Very rare class, very seldom awarded, in superb condition. Dim.: 58,0 mm. I RR!
