3rd Class Breast Star, 65x49 mm, gilt Silver, maker`s mark "Heinrich Weiss, Bucarest", the gold medallion on the obverse depicting St. George terrassing the dragon, on reverse medium pin. An extremely rare order in perfect condition, very seldom awarded exclusively for merits in war! I RR!

3rd Class with Crown (for Special Awards) for Ladies by "Da Costa, Lisboa". Breast Badge, 45x39 mm, gilt Metal, medallion and crown on the top enameled, with thin pin on reverse and original ribbon. Very rare order and interesting special design for exceptional merits, of the period of exile of King Carol II! Extremely fine condition. I RR!

ORDER OF THE STAR OF ROMANIA, 1864

Grand Cross Set (1885), 1st Model, for Military in Time of Peace (swords under the crown). The order, instituted formally on 10th of May, 1877, was extended to the division "military in time of peace" in 1885, taking the form with swords under the crown, and for "military in war", with swords to the centre of the cross. Sash Badge in gilt Silver, maker`s mark "Resch", both sides dark blue enameled, obverse medallion with the eagle, reverse medallion with Carol I cipher. Original short sash in very good condition.

ORDER OF FERDINAND

Collar Chain and Collar Badge, 2nd Model, Carol II, Prince size. The Chain, gilt Silver, one side enameled, 12 enameled medallions, 475x15 mm.; the Badge, gilt Silver, both sides enameled, 68x44 mm. original suspension ring. The Order of Ferdinand I was instituted on May 10th, 1929, to the everlasting memory of King Ferdinand I, the founder of the nation, for merit in uniting all Romanians in a single state. The order could be awarded only to Romanian Citizens, for outstanding merits in the national union. The order was closed by law no. 12 on February 18th, 1937.

Order of the Faithfull Service (1932)

Grand Cross Set, 2nd Model Civil (1932). Sash Badge, gilt Silver, concave cross, beautifully made slightly rounded light blue enamel on both sides and laurel wreaths between the limbs. The medallion on the obverse with Romanian coat of arms, the reverse medallion with the inscription "Serviciu Credincios" (Loyal Service), hallmark and silver mark "41-43" and maker`s mark "HW", short sash.

Extremely rare set of exceptional quality and superb condition. Only 50 sets awarded! Dim.: the badge, 80,0x59,0 mm; the star 74,0 mm. I RR!
