1st Class Badge, instituted in 1809 by Jérôme Bonaparte. Breast Badge, 57x33 mm., gilt Silver, both sides legend enameled, "CHARAC. UND AUFRIC." and ERIC. DEN XVI DEC MDCCCIX" on reverse, original suspension ring and correct new ribbon. A superb mid-nineteen century fabrciation, in extremely fine condition! II RR!
