A Judge’s Badge of the Holy Inquisition

White enameled, circular medallion bearing the symbols of the Cross flanked by the sword and the green enameled olive branch; the reverse, bearing the black-and-white enameled cross of the Dominican Order (some wear to the enamel); the whole enclosed in a finely chiseled frame, Upper loop and round suspension ring; original, red silk ribbon.
An extremely rare badge from the early 18th Century, almost excellent condition besides what stated.
