Russia: Order of St. Stanislas, Cross of the Order with Crown of early type (eagles with spreaded wings); Gold and enamels; Kingdom of Italy (Napoleonic Period, 18051815): Order of the Iron Crown, Knight’s badge in Silver, Gold and enamel; France, 2nd Empire: “St.Helena Medal” in Gold; Italy, Kingdom, Commemorative Medal for the Independence and Unity of Italy, with bars “1848” and “1849”; all with their proper, original ribbon and mounted for wear on a fire-gilt, safety-pin.
A most interesting group, belonged to a veteran of the Napoleonic wars, probably involved in the European policies during the post-1815 restauration, eventually fighting on the field, during Italy’s First War of Independence, 184849; the two orders are executed in the finest quality, with carefully chiseled and engraved details, while the two decorations are made according to the official model; excellent condition. I RR!
