Honour and Fidelity Cross with the Effigy of D. Miguel

Fire-gilt uniface Silver cross of Maltese type with ball-finials, flanked by fleurs de lys; centre medallion with embossed portrait of the sovereign and around, the inscription “D. MIGUEL PRIMEIRO”; on top, Royal crown with chiseled details, round ring and suspension bar; original, red silk ribbon with rectangular, golden buckle with chiseled inner border.
An extremely rare decoration from 1828, also known as “D. Joao’s Emigration Cross”; excellent condition.
