A full set of insignia of the Order in Gilt, composed of 42 ornamented links with embossed, stylized symbols an S-shaped link as a closure behind and a small, oblong forward link, to which the badge is appended, as a gilt star of chiseled major rays flanked by shorter, polished ones; centre medallion at the colours of Cambodia in blue-red-blue enamel with symbolic depiction of the sacred Angkor Wat on the red section, outer circlet bearing inscription within golden laurel wreath; on top, the crown of the kings of Cambodia ending with spaherical loop to connect the badge to the collar chain; smooth, polished reverse struck with the maker’s mark “Toch”; Breast Star similar to the collar badge, but not embellished with the crown; concave, polished reverse, fitted with pin.
A very rare order, awarded in one class only, instituted by King Norodom Sihanuk on October 5th, 1995 to reward exceptional merits to the State and the Crown; to foreigners, can be granted to heads of state only; this same collar is worn by the King himself; excellent condition.
