Large and spectacular Talisman of the Hebrew community - Hollow spherical metal and oriental low silver, structure extended by a fixing foot (the ceremonial object intended to be presented and moved), ornamental decoration formed of 16 circled cups with a hexagram motif of the Sail of Solomon symbolizing wisdom, life, and protection, also a magical dimension inspired by Kabbalah.. Openwork central medallion decorated with five pearls, numerous symbolic engravings throughout. Neutral back. Attachment chain. In the style of ancient pentacles on which the symbol of the invoked spirit is drawn. Probably made in North Africa (Sephardic community?), late 19th century. Good overall condition. Est. 700-900 E
