Order of St. Januarius

Prince Size Breast Star, 57 x 57,5 mm., Silver, chiselled to imitate a sequined embroidery, flanked by ornated fleurs-de-lys, chiselled gold centre with enameled details of the robe of the Saint; separately-made scroll with the Order’s motto in gold lettering on blue enameled ground, the reverse, with 4 golden retaining nuts, securing the centre and fitted with a vertical pin.
A beautiful rare star, made for a young prince, excellent, Neapolitan manufacture, extremely fine condition. I RR!
