SERBIA

1st Class Set of the 1st Type, awarded in 1883–1903. Sash Badge, 82 x 40 mm., gilt Silver and white enamel, oval centre medallion with the arms of Serbia on red enamel, outer circlet with diamond-cut ornament, red enameled reverse medallion with gilt silver, crowned “M I” monogram, upper crown hinged to the deep-blue enameled pendalia with date of the
institution in gold lettering to the reverse, suspension ring struck with “IL” (Jacob Leser, Straubing) and “800” marks, grooved and beaded ribbon-ring, with original, full length sash. Breast Star, 98 x 93 mm., gilt silver, superimposed with the order’s badge also in white enameled,
gilt and chiselled silver, upper Royal crown, with blue enameled pendalia, the reverse with oval counter-medallion and vertical pin, struck with “IL” and “800” marks.
