Russia: Order of St. Stanislas, Cross in Half-Size of the Order with Crown of early type (eagles with spreaded wings), 32 x 20 mm.,GOLD and enamels; Kingdom of Italy (Napoleonic Period, 1805–1815): Order of the Iron Crown, Knight’s Badge in Silver, gold and enamel; France, 2nd Empire: “St.Helena Medal” in GOLD; Italy, Kingdom, Commemorative Medal for the Independence and Unity of Italy, with bars “1848” and “1849”; all with their proper, original ribbon and mounted for wear on a fire-gilt, safety-pin.
A most interesting group, belonged to a veteran of the Napoleonic wars, probably involved in the European policies during the post-1815 restauration, eventually fighting on the field, during Italy’s First War of Independence, 1848–49, the two orders are executed in the finest quality, with carefully chiseled and engraved details, while the two decorations are made according to the official model, excellent condition.
