Order of the Phoenix

Commander's Cross with Swords, 2nd Type. Neck Badge 84x57 mm, gilt Silver and white enamel, obverse centre with convex phoenix rising from the flames, crossed swords between the cross's arms, reverse medallion with royal monogram "P" (for King Paul I), crown suspension, circular ring and tapering ribbon ring, original, neck ribbon with gilt hook and eyelet, in original case of issue by "Anagnostopoulos, Athenes", with gilt weapon on the lid. A rare decoration, with nice patina and in very fine condition, identical to the piece illustrated in: G. J. Beldecos: "Hellenic Orders and Medals", Athens, Hellenic War Museum, 1991, plate 43. I R!
