The Order of Melusine, created by Marie de Lusignan

Commander's Cross, instituted in 1881. Neck Badge, 77x48 mm, gilt Silver, one side enameled, original suspension ring, loop and ribbon, inscription on reverse "ORDRE DE MELUSINE - 1186", together with awarding document to a French employee of the Canal de Suez Company in Egypt, dated 20th of February 1887. A beautiful and rare badge, of high jeweller's quality, of the 2nd part of the 19th century, together with a very interesting document, in mint condition! I R!
