Breast Badge, 19x17 mm., Gold and Silver, as a white enameled, gilt silver five-pointed star, each ray with a thin line to the middle; blue enameled centre medallion with applied, two crossed scimitars in gold; red enameled outer circlet with laurel wreath in gold, surmounted by Egypt’s Royal crown also made of gold; blue enameled, reverse centre with long, calligraphic, Arabic inscription; sphaerical, upper original suspension bar, made after the British style and original ribbon.
An extremely rare badge of this one-class order awarded to officers for exceptional acts of bravery in battle in the face of the enemy; excellent condition.I RR!
