Breast Badge, 79x48 mm., Siver, four-pointed yellow and white enameled Ray Crosses in silver, with blue enameled Chinese Thunder Clouds in the quadrants between the arms of the cross, the obverse centre also in gilt exhibiting a yellow enameled centre medallion encircled by a translucent red enameled ring, the reverse plain, suspended from an Imperial orchid crest with yellow enameled petals, featuring Japanese characters on the reverse for “Order of Merit Decorations”original suspension ring and ribbon.
