Breast Badge, 62.5x39 mm., GOLD, six groups of three polished beams each, flanked by 6 white enameled fleurs de lys; polychrome enameled image of St. Ferdinand with armour and robes on highly polished ground, within night- blue enameled outer circlet bearing the golden motto “FIDEI ET MERITO”; reverse medallion with engraved “FERD. iV inst: anno 1800” within night- blue enameled outer circlet with three, stylized flowers; solidly mounted, upper crown with finely chiseled and engraved details, large upper loop and strong, doubled ring of thick, gold wire; long, original ribbon.
