Louis XVI Style Cartel Clock

A classic Louis XVI style cartel clock, with a stuccoed and inlaid wooden frame, violin-shaped, resting on four scrolled feet, tiered capital with ridges, gilt background, painted floral decoration on the pediment and base, ball-shaped finial, white enamel dial with double Roman and Arabic numerals. Swiss made by Le Castel, mid-20th century, in good overall condition. Dimensions: 49 x 24 x 10 cm.
