A complete set to a member of the Real Maestranza: Neck Decoration in Gold: red enameled shield, two ovals depicting the royal arms of Spain and Sevilla, divided by a vertical, gold sceptre; the whole encircled by the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece with red enameled flames and separately- made, chiseled badge of the Order; upper, royal crown, with grooved ribbon ring; deep-sea-blue enameled reverse, applied, gold escutcheon with inscription “SOCIET. EQUESTRIS HISPAL.”; with original neck ribbon; Breast Bagde in Gold, similar to the neck decoration, also of the finest quality and excellent enamel-work; the reverse fitted with vertical pin and the maker’s escutcheon of Chobillon, Paris; in the original, black morocco case of issue, with fitted inner compartment and silk-covered inner cushion.
A very rare group dating to the last part of 19th Century, of the best workmanship, extremely fine condition.
