Order of the Star

A complete set of the 1st Class after the Order’s reformation in more classes operated by King Muhammad Zahir Shah subsequently to his acces - sion to the throne in 1933: Sash Badge as an openwork appendant with a silver faceted five-pointed star within stylized wheat wreath in gold; round upper loop and oval suspension ring; with original sash ribbon; Breast Star in gold with polished rays; centre medallion in gold with the coat of arms of the Afghani Kingdom in silver within outer circlet bearing inscription in Arabic script; the reverse struck with gold mark and fitted with vertical pin.
