Order of St. Ferdinand

A “Swords’ Cross” in Gold; the blades with trans- lucent red enamel, showing the fine chisel-work; richly elaborated hilts with baroque crossguards and chequered grips, centered to a single, round, polished pommel; the reverese, fitted with golden pin. A beautifully-made piece, from the 1st quarter of 19th Century, excellent condition.
