Order of St. Ferdinand

A Second Class Laureated Cross in Gold in “Prince size”, with red enameled swords’ blades, the hilts centered by a single pommel and with ornamented crossguards, green enameled laurel leaves; the reverse fitted with vertical pin; in the original, round, red morocco case with dark blue velvet lined inside.
A very rare decoration of slightly reduced size, as used by highly decorated officers, of beautiful manufacture from the early 19th Century; excellent condition. Dia.: 35,0 mm. I R!
