The Order of Saint Anne

An early badge of the order in fire-gilt Bronze; the arms’ obverse, set with red pastes ending with tree white pastes each; typical ornament between the ams, centered by a set, white paste each; oval centre medallion with fine image of the saint in enamel miniature; gilt reverse, with oval, enameled centre medallion with finely painted, crowned monogram; the upper arm, fitted with round, suspension loop.
A beautiful, rare decoration, dating to the end of 18th earliest 19th Century; excellent condition and quality.
