Order of the Golden Fleece

A jewelled fleece badge of the order, of “archaic” stylized type, in Gold with finely chiseled details; the horns and the “strap”, profisely set with brilliants on both sides; round loop and moulded, tapering suspension ring (this, probably later, made for a re-use of this badge).
An extremely rare, beautiful badge, that can be dated to the last quarter of 18th Century; excellent manufacture and condition.

Note: the jewelled badges of the order were almost exclusively worn by royals and princes. RR! I
