A Commander’s Breast Star in Silver with excellently chiseled and pierces arms with applied inserts in gold and blue enamel; white enameled, oval centre medallion with blue enameled monogram, within applied, green enameled laurel wreath; blue enameled outer circlet; the counter medallion to the reverse, engraved with the maker’s signature of Hamlet, London.
A beautiful, early star, of almost unique manufature, dating to the early 19th Century, excellent condition. Dim.: 84,5 mm. I RR!
