A complete set of First Class: gilt-silver collar, 12 links composed by crossed, orange-yellow and orange-yellow/green banners and standards resting on crescents, within laurel wreaths; the centre and the rear links, with blue-enameled, stylized symbol, to which is suspended the Order’s badge in form of a four-pointed star on a round of radiating beams; yellow enameled centre medallion with Brunei’s coat-of-arms, within outer circlet with inscription ”PEDUKA SERI LAILA JASA”, upper, round suspension ring; breast star with four pointed, chiseled silver stars, to which is applied the Order’s badge in gilt silver with chiseled details and yellow enameled centre medallion; the reverse, with vertical pin and maker’s escutcheon of Spink & Son, London; in the original, large, deep-blue morocco case of issue with fitted inner compartment, the lid, with gold-embossed name of the order.
An outstandingly rare class of this high order of merit instituted in 1964, awarded to heads of state and most prominent personalities only; Provenance: A Britsh Official, Director of Shell Petroleum. Excellent condition.
