Military Order of Christ

An early Order’s badge of reduced size in Gold as an oval, openwork medallion with finely chiseled details, enclosing the Order’s cross, its obverse with red and white enamels, the arms, ending with small sphaeres; smooth, polished reverse; sphaerical loop with round, ribbon ring.
A very rare decoration of the finest quality, from the end of the 18th or the earliest 19th Century, excellent condition.
