The Medal of the Phoenix

Gilt Silver, with 4 pink enameled roses sided by green leaves, with overlying “cross”, the arms enameled in yellow, blue, black and white resp. and centered by a pearl each; fire-red enameled centre medallion with polychrome enameled mythological bird; concave reverse, with vertical, tapering pin. A very rare decoration awarded to ladies only, excellent condition.
