Grand Officer's Star of the 2nd Model, 2nd Class, instituted in 1849. Breast Star, 78 mm., GOLD and Silver, “C” for Grand Commander on reverse, hallmarked ”AA”, center enameled, superimposed parts GOLD, the reverse with a broad pin, maker’s mark ”Vinc. Mayer’s Sohne, Wien”.
A superb star, made by the then official purveyor of this order. Very fine condition! I-
