Watercolor on fine paper, depicting five men, Persian prince and his escort, observing a half-naked woman of high status (the princess?...) busy with her toilette in a river in nature, her horse at her side. The hussy-inspired scene evokes an embarrassed surprise, in the tradition of bath scenes. Contours of the frame. Two writing cartouches at the top and bottom. Good condition, polychromic preserved. Eastern Persia, 20th century work. Dimensions: 23,4 x 30.5 cm. Unopened assembly under glass. Superb and very attractive!
