Grand Cross Set (1877), 1st Model, for Military in Time of War. Sash Badge, Silver, both sides dark blue enameled, averse medallion with the eagle, reverse medallion with Carol I cipher. Crown and swords in very fine massive French quality. Original sash in very good condition. Breast Star with swords, Silver, maker’s mark “Josef Resch & fils, Bucarest”, enameled, brilliant cut. Very interesting set, extremely rare, only 10 awarded pieces!
