Breast Star, 75 mm, with chiseled and pierced rays; centre medallion in gold, with applied the enameled order’s cross, within blue enameled outer circlet bearing golden, Greek inscription; the reverse, with French marks and the maker’s escutcheon of Halley, Paris; further, the award papers dated July, 1853, to the Spanish gentleman Don José Pizarro.A very rare and superb set, very fine condition.
