Jewelled Grand Cross Set, of the Type awarded under the rule of Muhammad an-Nasir Bey (1906-1922). Breast Badge as an alternately red and green enameled ten-pointed star in GOLD, flanked by Silver beams, completely set with stones of different sizes; green enameled centre medallion with the sovereign’s monogram also set with stones within an outer circlet,
also set with brilliant-cut stones; hinged, upper bow enriched with stones, same as the suspension ring; with original, full-length sash; Breast Star of similar design, also profusely set with stones, also to the lance shaped rays, in place of the enamel. The reverse, fitted with vertical pin; in the original, dark blue, fitted case of issue bearing the Tunisian coat of arms embossed in gold on the lid. A beautiful and very rare piece of the “Mourrassa” (with jewels) division of this Order, destined to most prominent personalities only; extremely fine condition.
