Cross for a “Knight of Right” (Cavaliere di Diritto) in GOLD, 40x37 mm, red enameled cross, flanked by green enameled laurel wreath and crossed swords with chiseled hilts; white enameled centre medallion, bearing the golden image of St. George and the Dragon; blue enameled outer circlet with the Order’s motto “IN HOC SIGNO VINCES”; reverse medallion similar to the obverse but the outer circlet, bearing the inscription “VIRTUTI” and laurel branches; sphaerical suspension loop and round ring, with ribbon. A beautiful, early piece, excellent condition. I R!
