The Order of Aeronautical Merit

Officer’s Badge of the Order as a “T” cross, 50 mm., Silver, the arms with separately mounted, goldbordered, polished Greek cross, the centre as a golden allegory of the winged “Victory” with a scroll
bearing the inscription “AL MERITO”, the reverse with the badge of the Argentinian Air Force and the inscription “REPUBLICA ARGENTINA / AL MERITO AERONAUTICO”, with horizontal, round pin with safetycatch, together, a lapel miniature of the Order, 12 mm., with enameled “ribbon”, fitted with rear button. A very rare order, of beautiful design and workmanship, excellent condition and fine patina. I RR!
