4th Class Cross of the Order, 1st Type, 60x36 mm, in gilt Silver with blue bordered, white enameled arms with ball finals, flanked by Serbian double-eagles with enameled breast shields, the edges, finley chiseled, white enameled, oval, obverse centre medallion with miniature painted image of the Saint wearing red robes, within blue enameled outer circlet bearing the Order`s motto in golden lettering, white enameled reverse centre medallion with elaborate, chiseled, crowned monogram of king Milan Obrenovich, within blue enameled outer circlet decorated with golden laurel wreath, upper loop as stylized palm leaves and hinged, royal suspension crown, round ribbon ring and original silk ribbon with rosette, in the original, red morocco case of issue with gold embossed russian inscription on the lid, indicating the class and deep-red, fitted, inner compartment and ivory silk lining. A beautiful, early decoration of Russian manufacture, excellent condition and probably one the highest Serbian rarities!I RR!
