Large Sultan`s Medal for Egypt, 1801, in GOLD (Vak`a-i Misriye Madalyasi)

GOLD, the obverse with the Sultan`s tughra within owers and bows, "1801" at the base, the reverse with Crescent and Star within owers and bows, with original chain-and-hook suspension, mounted to a bow of golden braid, of the type used for the ancient rank insignia of the Royal British Navy.
