An embroidered, Grand Cross Breast Star, 2nd Restoration (1815-1830), 96 mm, with sequined arms bordered with silver strip-wire and eurs-de-lys; tiny loops to mount the star to the habit; chiselled silver centre medallion with separately made head of Henri IV; the outer circlet with motto “HONN EUR ET PATRIE” and laurel branches; the reverse with paper backing.
A beautiful, very rare star, extremely fine condition and best quality.
