Order of St. Michael

2nd Class Badge of the Order, 82x47 mm, in GOLD, with blue enameled arms, golden, oval centre medallion bearing the image of St. Michael raising a fasces of lightnings and holding the shield, bearing the blue enameled motto "QUIS UT DEUS", with the devil under his feet, round, reverse medallion, bearing the blue enameled motto "VIRTUTI", upper loop, made in the form of stylized acanthus leaves, to which the royal Bavarian crown is hinged, round, upper ring and original ribbon. A beautiful, very rare badge in excellent condition, in case of issue, with gilt inscription on the lid. Very attractive! I RR!
