Badge of the order in GOLD, 97 x 70 mm., with white enameled arms, splendidly made image of the saints in gold, enriched by polychrome, miniature enameling, on enamel painted ground, deep-sea-blue enameled outer circlets, bearing the Order’s motto “AUSPICIUM MELIORIS AEVI” in gold lettering, chiseled and engraved, hinged, upper crown, with tubular loop and round, ribbon ring, with long, original ribbon for wear around the neck. Breast Star, 82 mm., in Silver, with chiseled and pierced rays, red enameled cross with most fine engraving, centre medallion with miniature enamel image of St. Michael defeating the devil, within deep-sea-blue enameled outer circlet, superimposed by the chiseled order’s motto, smooth reverse with vertical, golden pin, In an old, privately-made, fitted case, probably made on behalf of the owner himself, for a better storage of his awards.
