The Glorious Order (Nişân-ı zî-şân)

Insignia of the Order in silver, set with pastes, with round centre medallion in GOLD with the Sultan`s tughra on a 16-pointed star, suspension ring also set with pastes, long, old ribbon.
An outstandingly rare piece from ca. 1850/51, of Turkish manufacture, according to the drawings with descriptions, work of Boghos Düzian (1797-1871), preserved at the Topkapi Palace Museum, the badges are only set with pastes.
