Embroidered Breast Star, 96 mm., with rays made of different silver threads and tiny loops to af x the star to the habit, the centre also made of silver threads and sequines, red-lacquered, twisted silver strip to make the centre’s border, the reverse, with remains of the original, green morocco leather backing. A most important a highly rare star from the mid-18th Century and, considering its age, in very fine condition.
