Patriarch’s Pendant as a King’s Grace

Breast Badge, 128x61 mm, in GOLD, 79.35 g., of roughly oval shape with mother-of-pearl centre, beautifully carved with the scene of Christ’s Resurrection within engraved laurel wreath, enclosed in a triple border of tiny pearls, separated by twisted gold wire, below, a drop-shaped appendant in gold, completely covered with tiny pearls, on top, a hinged, stylized Patriarch’s cross, profusely set with pearls, the reverse, affixed with a polished, gold plate engraved with Greece’s coat of arms and the Greek inscription “PAUL WITH GOD’S WILL KING OF THE GREEKS TO ECUMENICAL PATRIARCH ATHINAGORA 1963”.
A unique piece, presented to a most prominent and influent personality of the Orthodox world, excellent condition. I RR!
