Breast Star of the Order, 70 mm, Silver, with smooth, polished rays; the centre in gilt silver and enamels, centre medallion with fine miniature painting of the Nativity, within blue enameled outer circlet, bearing Greek inscription, chiselled, upper crown, concave reverse, with convex countermedallion, round, vertical pin. A very fine piece of Prince’s size, of the finest quality, probably of Italian production, although unmarked, excellent condition and fine patina. I RR!
