Breast Star, 76 mm., Silver, with chiseled and pierced rays with thin, chiseled border, golden centre with white enameled cross cross enriched with tiny “flames”, red enameled centre medallion with finely chiseled golden motto “IN TRAV FAST”, within broad, pebbled and white enameled, golden outer circlet, polished reverse, with vertical pin, the countermedallion, bearing the engraved maker’s signature of Quellhorst, München, in its original, round, dark red morocco case.
A beautiful, rare star from the 1st half of 19th Century, excellent condition. I R!
