Commander’s Cross for Civil, 90x55 mm, gilt Silver, red enamel on both sides; dark-blue enameled centre medallion with separately applied portrait of the saint, within dark-toned, chiseled outer circlet; reverse medallion also gilt with blue enameled centre; wreath suspension, with grooved ribbon ring; original, full length neck ribbon; in the original, fitted case of issue, with gold embossed coat-of-arms on the lid, together with miniature and lapel hole rosette.
