Commander`s Cross, 1st Model with cipher of King Carol II, for Military in Time of War, 1938, 60 mm in gilt Silver, original suspension ring, loop and correct ribbon. German fabrication in extremely fine condition! I R!
Commander`s Cross, 1st Model with cipher of King Carol II, civil, 60 mm, in gilt Silver, original suspension ring and loop, correct ribbon. The decoration is a cross with a longer vertical arm, in the same design as the Michael the Brave Order and a horizontal arm designed as a stylized wing. The central shield has the Romanian eagle on white enamel and the King`s cipher in the middle. The green enameled laurel wreath between the arms of the cross is present only by the first two classes. On the reverse side the year of the introduction, 1930.
Gold Cross, 1st Model, Civil, Pattern, in gilt Copper, 30 mm, original suspension ring and loop. The order was instituted on July 31st, 1930 by Carol II, in four classes, Commander, Officer, Knight and Golden Cross, and awarded to the civilian and military air personnel, in times of peace and in war. The decoration is a cross with a longer vertical arm, in the same design as the Michael the Brave Order and a horizontal arm designed as a stylized wing. Officer's Cross, 2nd Model, Civil, instituted in 1935. Breast Badge, 55x37 mm, gilt Silver, hallmerked "27-HW (Heinrich Weiss)-37", both sides enameled, very fine execution, with fitted original ribbon with rosette. Rare order and class, in superb condition. This class was introduced in 1937 and closed in 1939. I
Grand Cross Set, 2nd Model, Civil, instituted in 1935. Sash Badge, 85x57 mm, gilt Silver, hallmarked "crown", concave cross, rounded light blue enamel on both sides and laurel wreaths between the limbs. The medallion on the obverse with Romanian coat of arms, the reverse medallion with the inscription Serviciu Credincios (Loyal Service), original uncut sash. Breast star with crown above the medallion, 70 mm., Silver and Silver gilt, enameled, maker’s mark “KK”, hallmark “900, crown”, on the reverse thin gilt pin. Extremely rare set, in mint condition! Awarded only 35 times! RR! I
